Unlike her sister whom favors comfort above all else, Tanice is quite the fashionista. While she can't always afford designer clothing, she does her best to keep up with the latest fashion trends. ' Dressing Down' is quite a rare occasion for Tanice. As such, her definition of dressing down tends to clash with that of most people as even if she is seen wearing jeans, Tanice will usually also be wearing a trendy blouse as an accompaniment. Or if she is wearing a simple tank top, she will usually double up on accessories. Despite being a little self conscious about certain aspects of her skin, such insecurities do not extend to her figure as Tanice is quite proud of that and shows it with fitted clothing that accentuates her curves and plunging necklines. Tanice is a bit compulsive when it comes to color coordination and tends to avoid mismatching in any sense. To this end Tanice harbors a particular disdain for wearing multiple shades of the same color and wrinkled clothing.
[break][break]
GENERAL[break][break]
Tanice is a sun-kissed beauty with a heart shaped face, almond- shaped eyes and deep set dimples. A natural brunette, Tanice changes her hair color in accordance with her mood. However, regardless, of whether her hair is honey blond, chestnut brown, or jet black Tanice possesses an aversion to cutting her hair past her shoulders. Not possessing the discipline that her sisters have for staying in shape, Tanice has to rely on her vegetarian diet to compensate for her nearly sedentary lifestyle. While it is sometimes unavoidable, Tanice is not a big fan of leaving the house bare faced. Even if she chooses to keep her makeup minimal, Tanice just doesn't quite feel like herself without it. Standing at 5'5, Tanice is shorter than both her twin and her baby sister, a fact that neither of them will let her forget. However, it can be said that what Tanice lacks in height, she makes up for in curves as she is more voluptuous than her sisters.

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]PERSONALITY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
It has often been said of the Dawson twins that from a personality perspective, whereas Taliah represents the darkness, Tanice is the light. Unintentionally, and mostly unwittingly Tanice tends to serve as her twin's conscience. In addition to possessing a stronger moral compass than her sister, Tanice is also the more sociable of the pair. Despite being soft-spoken, Tanice's temper is sill every bit as formidable as that of her siblings. Although it is worth noting that Tanice tends to be slower to anger than either of her sisters. Tanice tends to harbor far more insecurities than that of her twin and as such is always overly concerned with how others view her. While she admires Taliah's independence and self-reliance, Tanice doesn't view herself as being nearly as strong as her sister in that regard.
[break][break]
Tanice is extremely organized and more than a little bit of a neat freak. While she is slow to anger, Tanice is perhaps a little too quick to forgive. She will always be the one to apologize first when there is a disagreement between herself and one of her sisters even if she wasn't the only one in the wrong or wasn't wrong at all. When it comes to men, Tanice a bit of an attention whore. She loves being able to command a man's attention with the way that she dresses and her coquettish mannerisms. Tanice has a difficult time discerning between physical love and emotional love. As such, she struggles to express emotional love in a non-physical manner. In fact those that know her best might even suggest that Tanice may suffer from nymphomania as a form of escapism. While Tanice has forgiven her mother for transgressions made during her childhood, Tanice is extremely reluctant to discuss any part of her past.
[break][break]
While Taliah's morality is quite gray Tanice's is fairly black and white. The wrong thing done for the right reasons is still the wrong thing. Only in the most dire of situations will Tanice condone wrongdoing and even then she is likely to feel guilty about it for quite some time afterward. Tanice is quite non-confrontational. While she does have a bad temper, her temper is usually far more reactive than pro active in nature. While she enjoys shopping trips, long, empty late night conversations and the occasional girls' night out at the club, Tanice struggles to maintain meaningful friendships with other females. Tanice mentally resides in a place where bad things simply don't happen. People are genuinely good naturedly, well-meaning and trustworthy. As such, Tanice often engages in behavior that most might deem reckless. Also as a side effect of her rather unrealistic viewpoints, Tanice avoids discussing unpleasant things to the best of her ability.
[break][break]
As a marked departure from that of her siblings, Tanice is extraordinarily girly loving all things frilly, pink, and sparkly. She is naturally domestic in nature. Tanice not only thoroughly enjoys cooking and baking but is actually quite skilled at both. Possibly as a result of never quite feeling taken care of or cared for by her mother, Tanice longs more for being taken care of than being independent.

[attr="class","hopelovetitle"]HISTORY
[attr="class","hopelovetop"]
When Anya met Jaheim: Anya Chantale King, a senior at James A Garfield High school in East Los Angeles meets Jaheim Dawson, a charismatic football player with dreams of going pro. Discovered similarities in their cultural backgrounds and instant chemistry forged a strong bond between the pair and they began dating. Six months later, an enamored Jaheim presents Anya with a promise ring indicating his intention to propose at a later date. Four months later, to the dismay of the couple's parents Jaheim proposes on graduation night. Against the wishes of both set of parents, the couple were wed by a justice of the peace that summer.
[break][break]
Dream Deferred :What was initially believed to be a minor injury sustained during his final year of high school turned out to be major enough to dash Jaheim's dreams of playing the sport professionally. With a new wife to take care of Jaheim took on two minimal wage jobs while Anya continued to work as a sales clerk at a department store. Even with their wages combined, the couple could only manage to secure a small studio apartment. To further complicate matters, a few months later Anya discovered that she was with child. The revelation that his family was growing prompted Jaheim to apply for the open managerial position at the pizza place he had been working at. As it turns out the additional mouth to feed that Jaheim had anticipated turned out to be two as a sonogram soon revealed that Anya was pregnant with twins.Four and a half months later two beautiful song girls were born in which they named Taliah and Tanice.
[break][break]
It's a hard knock life: Despite the fact that the family of four didn't have a lot of money and sometimes could barely make ends meet, nevertheless they were still quite happy. There was a lot of love between Jaheim and Anya and the bond between the twins was as much mystifying as it was heartwarming. The abundance of love eventually led to the conception and birth of their final child Tanya. With one vehicle and three small children, it soon became clear that Anya working outside the home was no longer a feasible option. With the loss of their secondary income money grew even tighter forcing the family to rely on government assistance.
[break][break]
Life Upended: While Jaheim was delighted at Tanya's birth, the new arrival presented a greater challenge financially to the already struggling couple. He worried about the rundown and wholly unsafe neighborhood that he was raising his children in and sought to move them to a safer environment. To that end, Jaheim took a second job as a package handler of a delivery service. The additional job meant more money but less quality time with his family which eventually began to take a toll on his relationship with his wife. While Anya never said anything, Jaheim knew that his not being around as much and leaving her to be with the kids all the time was wearing on her. One night on his way home from work, Jaheim decided to stop at a local convenience store a few block from their home to grab some flowers for his wife. While he was evaluating the floral arrangements, a masked man burst into the establishment and proceeded to rob it. The store clerk fought back and grappled with the robber for his gun. Seeing a young girl nearby, Jaheim's paternal instinct kicked in . Jaheim pushed the girl to the floor and shielded her with his body as the gun accidentally went off, firing several rounds with one hitting Jaheim in the chest.
[break][break]
The aftermath: Jaheim's death hit Anya quite hard as it left her with very little funds and with three children to raise. Eventually, Anya found her comfort at the bottom of a bottle as drinking both dulled the pain of the loss as well as somewhat suppressed the intensity of her mental disorder. During the day Anya worked as a hair stylist from her home and at night typically drank herself into a stupor. Their mother's instability forced Taliah into the role of a parent to both her little sisters as well as a caretaker to her mother. This became the new 'norm' until the twins were about 15 years old when much to their mutual shock and chagrin, Anya managed to find a beau whom was every bit as dysfunctional as she was. Over the next year and a half they watched as Anya and Trevor drank and smoked through most of their mother's paychecks until a heated altercation between Taliah and Trevor resulted in the former attacking the latter with a pair of scissors. A concerned neighbor whom had overhead the melee phoned the authorities and Taliah was temporarily removed from the home. With her sister 'working through her anger' at a local group home over the next few months, the responsibility of caring for Tanya and keeping her mother sober.
[break][break]
The aftermath cont: Despite Tanice's best efforts to keep the family off the radar of child protective services, the altercation and Taliah's subsequent displacement drew the attention of her school's social worker. With no previous signs of abuse or neglect to note, the social worker didn't possess enough evidence to remove the children from the home but instead opted to merely monitor the family. The increased surveillance coupled with the very real fear that she would lose her children frightened Anya into making efforts to sober up. The frequent visits by CPS aided Anya in her efforts by making it difficult to conceal her misdeeds and holding her accountable. Everyone seemed supportive except for Trevor whom seemed to only enjoy Anya's company when she was under the influence or buying things for him. A sober more responsible Anya clashed drastically with his slacker lifestyle and eventually Trevor moved on to greener pastures. After about six months in a group home where Taliah met and befriended a group of delinquents, she was finally permitted to return home. For the first time in their life, the twins found themselves at odds with one another as Tanice secretly blamed Taliah for getting herself sent away and leaving her alone to handle their mother's dysfunction. Taliah's new friends did little to help matters as their brashness began to rub off on Taliah which caused her to clash with Tanice's more withdrawn and introspective nature.
[break][break]
It's a thin line between love and hate Particularly, as Tanice feared that Taliah's antics would either get her sent away again or cause social services to break up their family. The siblings didn't speak to one another for several months until one day when Taliah and Tanice came home to find their sister Tanya extremely ill after having mistaken their mother's percocet for a regular Acetaminophen. While the stomach upset was a relatively minor side effect when compared to the far more sever reactions that could have taken place, the experience was terrifying enough to prompt the twins to set aside their differences at least for the moment. It was only after Tanya was resting comfortably that the sisters were finally able to sit down and talk things out. with Tanice expressing her concerns over the path that Taliah had taken and the possible impact that it would have on their family as a whole and Taliah voicing her weariness of cleaning up their mother's numerous messes. While the two agreed to disagree on many issues, Taliah did concede that she didn't wish to see their family torn apart and to that end committed to modifying her behavior beginning with improving her performance at school.
[break][break]
On her own: With Tanice's help, Taliah managed to get through the rest of high school even if she just barely scraped by in most of her classes. Determined to escape the poverty that she grew up amongst, after graduating high school Tanice enrolled in a local community college where she takes night classes in interior design while working as a receptionist during the day. Initially, Tanice moved into a small two bedroom apart with her sister, however, as it seems that once again their paths have split, Tanice has recently opted to move into her own space as she continues striving towards her goals.

ABILITY[break][break]
Clairvoyancee- Clairvoyance is a specialization some telepaths use to locate a person or object merely by locating their unique mentality or mental impression that is left by said person or object. There are at least two variants of this power. The first sort permits the Meta to actually locate their victim anywhere on the globe simply by looking at a photo, however the ability is more powerful when the Meta has personally encountered this mentality or mental impression before. The range of this ability varies, as some Metas are capable of tracking individuals broadly around the world, and some can track them precisely within a much smaller range. With the second variant, clairvoyance becomes the ability to detect the presence of a specific mentality or mental impression. Usually, but not always, this presence is that of fellow Metas. In this case, the individual with clairvoyance can only locate individuals after sensing whatever it is clairvoyance informs them of. Depending on the meta in question, this may require as little as a photo, or as much as a meeting.
Regardless of the form it takes, clairvoyant individuals always display the ability to track other individuals on the basis of previously obtained information.
[break][break]
Clairsentience-Clairsentience is the ability of a telepath to see the mental impressions left on objects, effectively seeing the past of that object through the eyes of whoever left the mental impression. Clairsentience is the ability to perceive the mental impressions left by people on physical objects by touching them. When someone touches an object they leave a unique psychic imprint on that object that Tanice can detect. i.e. If someone falls down a flight of stairs, by touching that staircase, Tanice can see them falling down the stairs. As most of her visions tend to be through the eyes of the person (1st person) she essentially relives that moment. However, it can also be used to feel forcefields or any other intangible force that would be otherwise imperceptible. The Meta may have difficulty adjusting to life when every contact can provide information overload. This ability does not expand to the ideas and thought processes of those who touch it; only to actions in relation to the object.
[break][break]
LIMITS[break][break]
Clairvoyance: In regards to the first variant of Tanice's ability, as Tanice is most familiar with her sisters' mentalities/mental impressions she can not only find her sisters anywhere on the globe but can often narrow it down to a specific city and neighborhood. However, when searching for someone whose mental impression she is not quite as familiar with, Tanice can typically only track them as far as Canada regardless of whether she has met them or has only been presented with their photo. In terms of the second variant to Tanice's ability, Tanice is able to detect the presence of metas but only if she actually meets the alleged meta, a photo will not suffice.
[break][break]
Clairsentience: Tanice's ability is activated through touch however, it typically has to be through bare skin. Fabric or any material between herself and an object can typically inhibit her ability from being activated. If somehow her power does manage to be activated through clothing, the duration of her vision and the amount of what she sees is greatly reduced. In addition, the clarity can also be compromised. I.E. her visions may be fragmented to the point of being undecipherable.
[break][break]
WEAKNESSES[break][break]
Public places and the objects contained there within seem to be Tanice's kryptonite in a manner of speaking. Namely as these objects are touched more frequently and as such contain multiple mental impressions. As she is not yet able to separate mental impressions, this subjects Tanice to fairly severe sensory overload which an often result in anything from an intense migraine or tremors to a loss of consciousness.
